Halima from Toyen

Halima is an eight-year-old Norwegian-Somali girl living with autism. Although she has experienced both war and bullying, she is also very loved and full of enthusiasm. And who is this big teddy bear that gives her self-confidence, friends and hope?Halima from Tøyen is Faridah Nabaggala’s debut as a children’s book author. Nabaggala is herself a mother of a disabled child, and has for ten years run an organization that helps children and youngsters living with disabilities. She wants all children to think freely and follow their dreams.
