The Waterhole
Based on the true story of African pea farmer, Patrick Kilonzo Mwalua, The Waterhole is an inspiring story about taking action to help the wildlife and environment around us. When a horrible drought hits Kenya and dries up the waterhole in our story, the animals suffer greatly and become scared. Patrick sees this happen and decides to take action to protect the animals around him. With today’s climate-related struggles and the coming trials, this story provides a valuable lesson about how each and every one of us can make a change to our environment for the better. Even better, it shows us how our hard work can inspire others to help us, as well as take action on their own.
